If you’re getting ready to fire up your barbecue grills here’s some Red Cross safety tips on how to grill up your favorites .
*Always supervise a grill when it’s in use.
*Never ever grill indoors – not in the house, camper, tent or any enclosed area.
*Make sure everyone, including pets, stays away from the grill.
*Keep the grill out in the open, away from the house, the deck, tree branches, or anything that could catch fire.
*Use the long handled tools especially made for cooking on the grill to keep the chef safe.
*Make sure to also download the Red Cross Emergency App. This free app puts expert advice for every day emergencies at your fingertips. The free app is available for smart phones and tablets.
